蜜桃社 (RCC) is thrilled to announce that Sharon Alexander, a dedicated educator, nurse, and community advocate, has been named the 2024 RCC & RCCD's Alumnus of the Year. A graduate of RCC鈥檚 esteemed nursing program, Alexander has made a profound impact on healthcare and education within Riverside and beyond.

Since earning her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1981, Alexander has exemplified the values of compassion, expertise, and service. She has held leadership roles at Riverside Community Hospital and Parkview Community Hospital and now serves as a full-time faculty member at RCC, where she mentors aspiring nurses and ensures the next generation of healthcare professionals is well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

In addition to her academic contributions, Alexander is a driving force behind the Riverside Free Clinic. For the past decade, she has coordinated RCC nursing students' participation, empowering them to provide compassionate care to underserved populations. Her leadership extends to RCC鈥檚 Nursing Alumni Panel and collaborations with Moreno Valley College to deliver health screenings to vulnerable communities.
