This March, we invite you to join us in celebrating their remarkable contributions through a series of engaging events designed to empower, educate, and inspire. Whether you're creating art, learning self-defense strategies, or engaging in thought-provoking discussions, there鈥檚 something for everyone.

Thursday, March 6	Past to Present: Black Women in Movement Umoja Homeroom 12:30 - 2 pm Since 1911 IWD belongs to all who care about women's equality. Celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about discrimination, and take action for gender parity.
Monday, March 10	Erin Reddick Talk & Q&A Hall of Fame 12:30 - 2 PM Join us for an inspiring keynote address by Erin Reddick, AI Developer and Founder of ChatBlackGPT. Erin has carved a notable path in the technology industry, holding significant roles at Meta, Microsoft, and AWS. Don鈥檛 miss this opportunity to hear her story and insights on navigating the tech field.
Tuesday, March 11 鈥� Thursday, March 13	ASRCC's Women's Empowerment Week This week is dedicated to empowering women and celebrating their achievements. Engage in discussions, raise awareness about discrimination, and take action toward gender equity. Stay tuned for specific activities happening throughout the week!
Tuesday, March 11 鈥� Thursday, March 13	Chalk-Walk Display Quad Courtyard Celebrate women鈥檚 achievements through an interactive chalk art display, showcasing creativity and empowerment.
Wednesday, March 12	Bracelet Making Quad Courtyard 10 AM while supplies last Get creative and craft meaningful bracelets in honor of Women's History Month. Supplies available while they last!
Wednesday, March 26	Women鈥檚 Circle BLCIS-114 Noon - 2 pm A safe and welcoming space for those who identify as women or female to gather, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions. This first meeting will establish the framework for future gatherings.
Friday, March 28	Lift Off 鈥� Celebrating Women in STEM 11 am - 2 pm CAK-140 This event highlights the accomplishments of women in STEM fields. Enjoy a virtual greeting from a female NASA astronaut and a screening of the inspiring movie Hidden Figures.
Tuesday, April 1	Title IX at a Crossroads: Progress, Setbacks, and the Fight Ahead Noon - 2 pm BLCIS-114 Explore the legacy of Patsy Mink, a trailblazer who authored the historic Title IX legislation, ensuring equal access to education for women in the U.S. This discussion will go beyond sports equity, addressing the broader impact of Title IX on education and beyond.
